West Central Arkansas - Region VI
We've been serving seniors since 1974
Area Agency on Aging of West Central Arkansas is a private non-profit charitable organization that provides an information and referral service for seniors 60 and older. We also offer many other services for seniors, as well as disabled adults and their caregivers.
Area Agencies on Aging were created across the United States in 1974, by an amendment to the Older Americans Act. The main office for West Central Arkansas is located at 905 W. Grand in Hot Springs and supports ten counties and offices in five other locations including Malvern, Arkadelphia, Russellville, Morrilton and Clarksville.
At Area Agency on Aging we are dedicated to providing assistance to seniors, their caregivers and others in need to help them live independent, meaningful and dignified lives. The specialized in-home care that AAA provides allows seniors and disabled adults to stay in their own homes, even as their physical abilities become limited. This type of care is for home-bound seniors who are in need of assistance in their homes and prevents or delays placement of the senior or elder in a nursing home. This allows them to retain the independence and dignity that is so critical to their quality of life.
Most of the services provided by AAA are free to the recipient and the home care provided by certified aides, which is not, can be covered by Medicaid, private insurance or private payment.
